Relic Box 
All characters have a Relic Box in their inventory and initially hold 2 slots. These slots are similar to equipment slots, but you can only equip relics. Each relic inside the box is unique, meaning that only 1 relic of the same type can be equipped. (Ex: you cannot equip 2 sun tokens).
New slots can be unlocked for a certain amount of gold at Major Djinns (Gabel, Malor) after you complete the Djinn War Quest:
