Pristine World is a game that offers competition and cooperation between players from all over the world. In order to provide fair and fun gameplay for everyone, we have created some rules. Players are required to follow these rules whenever they play the game, are on the website or any other service related to Pristine World. The game rules are part of our Terms of Use.

Violation of the rules will result in a ban (blocking of your account), which can range from 3 days, 7 days, 30 days or even permanent. In some cases, additional measures may be taken to correct an unfair situation resulting from the violation of the rules, including any modification of the character's attributes, partial or complete removal of their belongings or even the character itself.

1. Names

a) Offensive name
• It is forbidden to choose names that could be considered offensive to a person or group of people. We also do not tolerate names that are harassing, slanderous, disclose personal data, are sexual in nature or that are intended to harm Pristine World.

b) Invalid name format
• Players should not choose names that contain part of a sentence or nonsense letters (e.g. "Ahsahsahash") or are poorly formatted (e.g. "Lu'qu-inha").

c) Name that does not describe the character
• Pristine World is a fantasy world of knights and magic. Players are expected to create names that fit this theme and avoid choosing names of third-party brands or celebrities, as well as names that express political or religious opinions (e.g. "Bols Onaro", "Heat Ler").

d) Name that encourages violation of any rule
• Players must not create names that encourage, imply or boast about a rule violation (e.g. "Botter")

e) Name falsifying an official position
• It is forbidden to create names that could indicate being part of the Pristine World Administration system (for example "Antibot system", "Game'master")

Naming rules apply to character names, guilds, guild ranks, guild titles, and any other services that require/allow the submission of a name.

Violation of this rule may result in a 7-day ban and the character will be required to change their name on the day the ban expires. Failure to do so will result in a permanent ban.

2. Declarations

a) Offensive statements
• Pristine World is a game based on relationships between players. These relationships are not always expected to be peaceful, since the concept of the game allows for villains to play, and should be expressed in a civilized manner. Players should not make public statements that are offensive to a person, group of people or other party, nor statements that are harassing, slanderous, disclose personal data, related to sex, racism or that have the intention of harming Pristine World or violating the law.

b) Spam
• Repeatedly sending the same statement, especially meaningless statements, is not welcome and will be considered spam.

c) Incitement to violate the rules
• Players must not encourage, suggest or boast about violating the rules, nor purposely mislead other players about the rules.

Statements may be considered a violation of the rules, regardless of whether they are expressed literally or in other ways (for example when a player replaces letters with asterisks to mask offensive words).
Please note that jokes or ironic tones may not always be understood as such. It is the player's responsibility to express themselves in a way that is appropriately understood.

Violating the declaration rule may result in a 3-day, 7-day, or permanent ban, depending on the severity of the violation and the player's record.

3. Cheating

a) Bug Abuse
• Players are required to report any bugs or errors found in Pristine World, the Website or any of our other services. Exploiting bugs, especially but not exclusively for personal gain or to gain an advantage over other players, is strictly prohibited.

b) Abuse of game weaknesses
• Players are required not to exploit features that are not necessarily the result of a software bug, but are clearly not intended to be used in this way. For example, although players cannot walk over each other, a character should not be used to block access to important areas of the game unless the reason is as a form of defense against PvP (player versus player), which is a strategy and should be unlocked after the action is completed.

c) Macro Usage
• Players must not use any form of automation while playing Pristine World. This includes, but is not limited to, repeatedly recording and replaying mouse movements or keystrokes, both at the software and hardware levels. All in-game actions must be performed manually by the player.

d) Using unofficial software to play
• Players must play alone, without any help or involvement of any other software than the official version currently supported and made available by us. Such involvement includes, but is not limited to, manipulation of the Pristine World client, modification of its files, use of any other software to connect to Pristine World, use of additional tools to perform actions or sophisticated programs to play (e.g. "BOTS").

e) Hacking
• Attempting to steal other players' account details, personal details or any other confidential data is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, spreading links designed to trick other players into submitting their credentials, downloading malicious software or attempting to brute force their way into any services.

f) Multiclient
• Each player may only have one character online. By "online" we mean that the character remains connected to the game, whether controlled or not, connected to the client or not. For example, the action of logging out of the client while the character cannot be disconnected using "exit" and then logging in to another character, is a violation of having two characters responsible for you online at the same time. The number of clients, devices or network addresses used is irrelevant - a player may not keep more than one character online.

g) Share Account
• We do not currently have any rules for those who share an account, however, if at any time your account was shared with a player who broke any rule, it will be penalized according to the information below.

Violation of sub-rule A), B) or G) may result in a ban of 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or permanent depending on the severity of the violation and the player's record.
Violation of sub-rule C), D), E) or F) will always result in a permanent ban from all accounts used by the offender.

4. Gamemasters

a) Threats to a Gamemaster
• Any threats, literal or implicit, to staff members, personally or in general, will not be tolerated. Attempts to exert pressure through blackmail will also be considered offensive (e.g. "if you don't do this I'll stop playing")

b) Pretending to have official position or influence over a Gamemaster
• Players may not impersonate Pristine World staff members or induce anyone to treat or regard them as such. Players may not claim to have influence over the staff or their decisions in any way.

c) False Report to a Gamemaster
• Players should not intentionally report false violations in an attempt to mislead staff or other players. Players who report suspicious activity that turns out to be unfounded are not at risk of violating this sub-rule. Understandably, without administrative tools and access rights, players will often have no way of proving the reported violation. In such cases, it is welcome to report the suspected incident to staff for investigation or to record a video of the infraction. This sub-rule only applies to cases where false reports are clearly made with the purpose of harming other players, staff, or the reporter's own interests, especially if the report includes false evidence.

Violation of the Gamemasters rule may result in a 7-day ban and a permanent ban depending on the severity of the violation and the player's record.

5. Power Abuse

a) Excessive player killing
• Killing is unjustified when the victim character is not marked with a skull and the killer caused the most damage or the last hit. This rule is automatically enforced by the system. Killing 6 or more players not marked with a skull within 24 hours will automatically result in an account ban.

b) Inadequate pricing
• Players have the free will to choose what value they want to trade their supplies for and insults or anything that keeps them in danger of having to sell their supplies to other people which imposes abuse of power, will be considered against the rules.

b) Expulsion of respawns
• Players have the free will to choose what they want to hunt freely and we understand that Tibia is a game where those with more power usually have the best respawns. However, we understand that in a peaceful way, thinking about the good of the game, everything can be discussed and treated in a civilized way where the player who is in a cave hunting freely and comes across a "dominant" request to leave can have some time (agreed between them) to remove their belongings and gather their loot, which makes the game more attractive to players who just want to have fun.
